Business Administration with a specialisation in Finance.
In order to qualify for the position of senior lecturer in business administration with a specialisation in finance, the applicant must have completed a doctoral degree in business administration with a specialisation in financial economics, or an equivalent degree from Sweden or another country.
The applicant must be able to demonstrate documented teaching skills and experience from teaching corporate finance or financial economics.
Teaching skills should be demonstrated through teaching experience in both first- and second-cycle finance education. These skills should be well documented in a manner that makes it possible to assess the quality of the teaching activities.
In order to qualify for the position as senior lecturer, the applicant must have demonstrated teaching skills and have a doctoral degree or equivalent expertise.
All teaching positions at Stockholm University require the ability to collaborate and the general ability and suitability to perform one’s duties.
In the appointment process, special emphasis will be placed on teaching skills (demonstrated through teaching in first- and second-cycle education, as well as supervision, course coordination and pedagogical development within finance).
Strong emphasis will be placed on a documented ability to cooperate well with colleagues and fellow researchers.
Strong emphasis will also be placed on scientific proficiency within the discipline of finance. This proficiency should be demonstrated through international publications and the potential for future publications in financial economics.
Emphasis will be placed on administrative skills and the ability to collaborate with the surrounding community and disseminate information about research and development work.
Emphasis will also be placed on ability to use the programming language Python in teaching.
It is a merit to have completed at least 15 higher education credits in teaching and learning in higher education or to have otherwise acquired equivalent knowledge.
The position is a temporary full-time position valid 12 months. More than one candidate may be appointed. Starting date: by agreement.
