The Department of Physics is one of the larger departments within the Faculty of Science, conducting a broad range of basic research, both experimental and theoretical, including Medical Radiation Physics. Project description

The researcher will be involved in the project on personalized radiotherapy for glioma patients – from defining targets to choosing treatment techniques and dose planning – using AI-based solutions.

Main responsibilities

The position involves the development and advancement of methods and tools for individualized, probability-based definition of high-grade glial radiation targets based on AI.

Qualification requirements

Researchers are appointed primarily for purposes of research and must hold a Swedish doctoral degree or an equivalent degree from another country.

Assessment criteria

In the appointment process, special attention will be given to research skills on the development and refinement of AI-based methods and tools for personalized, probability-driven delineation of high-grade glial radiation targets.

About the employment

The position involves full-time employment for a maximum of 12 months. Start date 2025-11-01 or as per agreement.
