Research assistant

The Department of Molecular Biosciences, Wenner-Gren Institute (MBW) conducts experimental basic research in molecular cell biology, intergrative biology and infection and immune biology. The research environment is characterized by a modern and advanced methodology and has a strong international profile. Main responsibilities

The work involves molecular genetic and genome-wide experiments to study histone modifications and the histone acetyltransferase CBP in embryos from the fruitfly Drosophila melanogaster. The experiments involve CUT&Tag and nano-CUT&Tag, bioinformatic analyses of data, optogenetics and in situ hybridization on Drosophila embryos.

We are looking for someone with experience from these techniques.

About the employment

This is a full-time, indefinite-term employment with a six-month probationary period. Stockholm University applies individual salary setting. Start date as agreement.
